TEDx Fort Wayne
Alec explores an emerging technology that allows an everyday object to transform into a blank canvas. Using the giant X as his canvas he merges music, projectors and his imagination to create a demonstration that highlights the possibilities of this emerging technology.
Fort Wayne Ballet hired Alec Johnson to develop and execute a series of workshops to teach the ballet company motion capture, interactive programming, and projection mapping. As the workshops were wrapping up, Alec collaborated with the company to produce an improvisational performance, with all music and projections by Alec Johnson.

Synesthesia
Synesthesia is a multi-media collaboration between Alec Johnson, Dance Kontemporary, Metavari, and Dry Valleys. Alec Johnson designed and engineered real-time, motion capture for the collaborative show, translating dancers movements into interactive projections.
